Kraft Mayo/Miracle Whip Coupons

Remember how condiments come on sale during the summer? If you need to stock up on Kraft Mayo/MW feel free to get some from me for $.25 cents per coupon. I bought some off ebay but won't need them all. You could probably get some off ebay for cheaper, but if not, contact me. They are for $1 off 1. Contact me if you want more details. I have some expiring 6/12  and another batch expiring 7/31/ With the cost of the coupon, it brings the coupons savings down to $.75 off one, which is still a good value coupon as they are usually $1 off 2.

I'll let you know when I see a sale I'll be pairing these with.

May RS Evening Activity

We had a great turn-out for our Coupon shopping and Organizing Storage class. Thanks to all who came, and thanks to Val for showing us her amazing organizational skills. And another big thanks for those who let me sneaky peak into their storage closets. If there is an interest I would be happy to post local deals here that I find pairing up sales with coupons. Please leave a comment if this interests you. If you are not a blog checker, feel free to sign up to receive the posts by email. Just subscribe up on the right hand side of the page under "follow by email."

For now, is there anyone needing to stock up on meat? I know it is that time of year for me and there is a great "beer rebate" coupon at ebay I'm thinking of buying. You heard me right, beer rebate.

Update- I contacted the ebay seller and he made a mistake with the coupons. It was only a $10 rebate with a $20 purchase. Bummer.

The coupon reads as such:

Get Up To $30.00 with the purchase of at least $50.01 worth (excl. sales tax) of (premium meats, and/or seafood, fresh produce, energy drinks or bars and/or nuts).
To receive your rebate, mail original dated cash register receipt(s) (All purchases must be made on the same date) along with the cutout of the original UPC  label  for each qualifying product and with qualifying product purchases circled.

These coupons are valid in the following states without a beer purchase: AL, AR, CT, HI, IN,  KY, ME, MO, NC, NJ, NY, UT and WV.

These coupons expire on 9/9/11.
Purchase must occur between 5/17/11 and 9/9/11.
Request must be Postmarked by 9/25/11.
Limit One Refund Per Household.

Pairing this with some sales would get you a whole bunch of meats AND fresh produce for only $20. I don't see why this would exclude the chicken sales when you buy a big box.  I have done these rebates before, and they are pretty much awesome. The catch is, you can only get one rebate per household. The best coupon deal I found on ebay is 5 of these for $15 (the seller has multiple available so we could get more than 5 participants...). So, you can either ask someone to use their address, or we need to find 5 people to split the coupons. If you're interested, let me know. It would be sad to see this one get away!

This would be $3 per coupon.

Save Your Yard Sale Items

Tiffany Leishman has an opportunity to participate in a music tour in Europe (for more details, ask her). As you can imagine, this will cost a lot of money.

She has decided to have a yard sale to raise money. If you have items you would like to donate for the yard sale, please contact Tiffany.

She is planning to have it in mid-July. Small items can be dropped off at the Leishman home. If you have furniture or other large items, please drop those off on location the day of the garage sale.

More details to come.

Mother's Day

Aren't I so lucky to spend each day with these three beautiful girls. (+Marie the kitten) What a beautiful day Mother's day was. I had extra time to enjoy it too because Ellie became traumatized by the singing during sacrament meeting and we had to leave in the middle of church. We just played on the lawn and enjoyed the day. I love being their mom, they are such a blessing. I am amazed each day, despite all the hard work, at how happy I am to be their mom.

Food Storage Deals

Hey everyone!  So sorry I've ignored this blog for so long.  You know how it is with the holidays and canning season - the excuses go on and on.  Just wanted to let everyone know this is the last week of the great Macey's food storage sale.  Wheat is a great price, and ready to store!  No hassle - already in the buckets .  Also, I've figured out a few food storage deals at Sams club and such.  Did you know if you have a wheat grinder (check your specific model) you can grind popcorn into corn meal?  Cornmeal is a bit like whole wheat flour, you can't store it for long.  But dent corn or popcorn will store for 30 years - like wheat.  Anyway, you can get 25 lbs of popcorn at Sam's club for $16ish.  Also, salt is a great deal at Sam's.  The 4lb food service box of iodized salt is only 87 cents!  You only need 8 lbs per person - wow, that's cheap!  Stay tuned for more great deals and interesting facts in weeks to come :)
